Hundreds of children enthusiastically participated in Ranchi's Shravan celebrations on Sunday, joining the Bal Kanwar Yatra. This vibrant procession originated from Nakshatra Van and concluded at Pahari Mandir. Young devotees, many dressed in saffron attire, chanted "Bol Bam" and carried beautifully decorated kanwars.
The yatra served as an introduction for many families to the sacred rituals and spirit of Shravan, an auspicious month dedicated to Lord Shiva. Children adorned as Bal Shiva and Bal Parvati were a particular highlight, adding to the festive atmosphere. The procession was enlivened by dhol and tasha beats.
