Summary
- Mocktail inspired by Nigerian Chapman served.
- Canapes offered before banquet to break fast.
- Prayer room provided for Muslim guests' needs.

In a significant event, the King hosted Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a state banquet that included unprecedented adaptations for Ramadan. This marked the first state visit by a Muslim leader during the holy month in 98 years, with the last occurring in 1928.
Accommodations at the Windsor Castle banquet included the introduction of canapes before dinner, a departure from tradition, to provide sustenance for guests observing their fast. A dedicated prayer room was also set up within the castle for those needing to break their fast or pray upon arrival.
The menu featured a fish main course, with fillet of turbot, and a vegetarian starter. A special non-alcoholic mocktail, Crimson Bloom, was created for the occasion. This drink is a unique twist on the classic Nigerian Chapman, using Zobo (hibiscus flower) and English rose soda, flavored with a homemade hibiscus and ginger syrup.
The banquet also showcased the Royal Household's spring floral arrangements, featuring flowers from royal gardens. The event was attended by numerous dignitaries, including the Prime Minister and members of the Royal Family, highlighting the diplomatic importance of the visit.
