Queen Camilla's Christmas Cheer with Children

Queen Camilla hosted her cherished annual Christmas lunch for children facing life-shortening conditions at Clarence House. The festive occasion welcomed youngsters from Helen & Douglas House and Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, who enjoyed meeting Santa Claus and adorning the Christmas tree.

This year's event marked the first appearance of the Queen's incoming equerry, Major Rob Treasure, a platoon commander from The Rifles. He assisted in placing the children's chosen decorations onto the tree branches, supported by Camilla's outgoing equerry, Major Ollie Plunket.

Reflecting on the gathering, Queen Camilla shared her personal connection to the event, stating it signifies the true beginning of Christmas for her.
