The Princess of Wales recently debuted a striking new makeup look during a visit to Scotland. While attending a church service at Crathie Kirk with Prince William and their three children, Princess Kate showcased a dramatic smoky eye with a precisely winged jet-black eyeliner.

This departure from her typical daytime style involved building smoke with charcoal eyeshadow along the lash line and creating an elongated, low wing. Makeup artist Jo Martin noted the technique creates a "soft" and "defined lift," offering an anti-ageing effect.

Kate accompanied her husband and their children for a summer break at Balmoral, a tradition shared with King Charles and Queen Camilla. She was pictured in a classic 'Sloane Ranger' ensemble, including a Holland & Cooper blouse and a Lock & Co hat, balancing her bold eye makeup with rosy cheeks and a neutral lip.
