Princess Zahra was born on February 8th, 2026, at 8:50 am. The birth was officially announced in Brunei, accompanied by a 17-cannon salute. The royal couple, Prince Mateen and Princess Anisha Rosnah binti Adam, expressed their gratitude to the healthcare professionals at Jerudong Park Medical Centre in Brunei for their support during the birth.

The couple, who wed in 2024 amidst a grand ten-day ceremony, have established their home in London. This marks Prince Mateen's first child and Princess Anisha's first, as they embrace parenthood together. The royal family's residence in London is over 7,000 miles from Brunei.
