Prince George's enrollment at the historic Berkshire institution began in early September 2026, following his father's attendance from 1995 to 2000. The Prince of Wales previously indicated that internet-free mobile phones might be considered for George upon his secondary school transition. He expressed reservations about children accessing inappropriate online content.

Eton's induction program aims to foster a close-knit environment for new students, referred to as 'F Blockers.' This includes familiarizing them with school traditions and its distinct Latin-inspired slang, where terms like 'halves' denote school terms and 'divs' mean lessons. The school's triangular report cards are humorously called 'threepenny bits.'
