The Powerball lottery is set to roll into another record-making week after no player matched all six Powerball numbers in Saturday's draw. With no grand prize winner, the jackpot for Monday, August 25 has risen to an estimated $750 million, placing it among the ten largest jackpots in the history of the game.
The annuitized jackpot carries a cash value of $338.6 million before taxes, the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) announced on Sunday morning. Saturday marked the 36th consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner, the last being a $204.5 million ticket sold in California on May 31.
The next Powerball drawing will be held on Monday, August 25, at 10:59 p.m. ET. Players across the United States, as well as Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, will have another chance to try their luck at the historic jackpot. According to MUSL, Monday's jackpot stands at $750 million, with an estimated lump-sum payout of $338.6 million.
