The Patiala traffic police have established comprehensive traffic management strategies for the Punjab Sakhi Shakti Craft Mela, scheduled at Sheesh Mahal from February 21 to March 2, 2026. These measures are designed to ensure smooth vehicle and pedestrian flow during the anticipated high footfall period.
Under the direction of SSP Varun Sharma, and in collaboration with the district administration and Municipal Corporation, specific arrangements including one-way traffic, no-parking zones, and tow-away services are now active. Visitors are advised to adhere to these guidelines to facilitate their journey to the Mela.
Three main parking zones have been designated: Dakala Chungi T-Point, Sanjay Colony Road, and the Govt Mohindra College parking area. Visitors approaching Sheesh Mahal via Upper or Lower Mall Road can follow a one-way route from NIS Chowk. The public is strongly urged to avoid the stretch from NIS Chowk to Sheesh Mahal and the inner Dakala Road adjacent to the venue.
