The intensive crossing is anticipated to last up to 55 days, during which the crew will adhere to a demanding two-hours-on, two-hours-off rowing and rest schedule. They will live aboard a specially designed ocean rowing boat, consuming a high-calorie diet and utilizing a solar-powered system for drinking water.
Allen has already garnered substantial support, raising over £19,000 towards their ambitious goal of £200,000, which would enable the foundation to grant 100 wishes for critically ill children and their families. The team has been diligently training for this demanding feat.
