A significant national motorcycle rally, featuring 146 riders, has arrived in Indore after traversing more than 2,600 kilometers across 14 states. Coordinated by the CRPF, this initiative aims to promote national unity, social harmony, and a drug-free India. The Madhya Pradesh Police are supporting the seven-member state team within the rally.
The riders were warmly welcomed in Indore, where an awareness program on drug abuse and national unity was organized. Senior police officials, CAPF representatives, students, and community members attended the event. The rally's objective, as highlighted by Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh, is to foster discipline, courage, and combat drug use, with a national goal to be drug-free by December 2029.
Enforcement alone is insufficient, requiring active societal participation. The rally will proceed to Ekta Nagar in Gujarat for National Unity Day on October 31, commemorating Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary. Various cultural performances, including mime, mimicry, dance, and rap, were part of the awareness efforts in Indore. Winners of drawing and slogan competitions were also felicitated, and a 'Say No to Drugs' painting was unveiled.
