On Sunday, despite cold weather, Nagpur's Sureshchandra Suri Ground was vibrant with the 'Hind-di-Chadar' event, honoring Guru Teg Bahadur's 350th Martyrdom Day. Organized by the Maharashtra government, the commemoration saw thousands of devotees participating in recitations of sacred hymns and ballads, with singers from various groups and cities performing. The spirit of selfless service was evident through numerous activities.
The venue featured dedicated areas for blood donation camps, free literature stalls, and langar service. Devotees also benefited from free cataract checkup camps and OPD services. Community volunteers, embodying the spirit of seva, managed different aspects of the event, emphasizing the teachings of Sikh Gurus and sacrifice.
