The event commenced early, with devotees gathering before sunrise. Esteemed Jain spiritual leaders, including Gachchhadhipati Acharya Som Sundar Suriji and others, guided the ceremony. As the 64 mumukshus accepted vows of restraint and renunciation, a reverent silence fell over the vast congregation.
A particularly notable moment was the joint decision of young social worker Rishabhbhai and his wife Sonalben to renounce worldly life together. Their shared commitment to lifelong celibacy was met with applause and deep reflection.
