For residents facing financial hardship, the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center (ARC) has established a new Pet Food Pantry. To access the pantry, families must present proof of residency within Montgomery County along with a valid photo identification. Additionally, any dogs qualifying for food assistance are required to possess a current license. Eligible households can avail themselves of this service once every 30 days, receiving a bag of dry food and several cans of wet food, subject to availability.
The ARC is actively encouraging community support to sustain the Pet Food Pantry. Donations of pet food and supplies can be dropped off during regular business hours.
