In a letter dated October 24, 2025, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex hinted at plans to visit the Commonwealth realm again, stating they "look forward to staying in touch especially as we look to visit Australia again."
The letter, which was shared by Australian celebrity astrologer Angela Pearl, comes just over a year after King Charles and Queen Camilla toured the country in 2024. Additionally, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese expressed hope in September 2025 that Prince William and Kate Middleton would also visit soon.
The Sussexes' potential return to Australia would mark their first trip there since stepping back from royal duties in 2020 and relocating to California. Their previous visit in 2018, during their first major royal tour as a couple, was a significant one, as it was when the palace announced Meghan's pregnancy with their son, Archie.
