Malia Obama Turns 28: Rare Family Video Surfaces

Malia Obama recently celebrated her 28th birthday on July 4, an occasion marked by special messages from her parents. A never-before-seen home video featuring Malia, her sister Sasha, and their mother Michelle Obama was shared on Michelle's Instagram account. In the clip, Michelle's youthful appearance drew admiration from fans, with many commenting that she looked like a sister rather than a mother.

Barack Obama also shared a touching tribute to his eldest daughter on Instagram, including a baby photo and a more recent picture of the two of them together. He expressed his pride and joy in watching Malia grow into the woman she is today. The family values their privacy, but Malia and Sasha made a rare public appearance on June 18 to support their parents at the Obama Presidential Center opening in Chicago.

During the event in Chicago, Michelle Obama delivered an emotional speech, expressing pride in her daughters and recounting her husband's accomplishments. She spoke of Barack's strength and dedication, highlighting his 'stubborn optimism' and 'unflinching courage.' Meanwhile, Malia is pursuing a career in filmmaking, though her mother, Michelle, recently joked on her podcast that Malia prefers to keep her professional projects private, humorously stating she'll 'never invite us to anything that she does.'
