The sacred doors of Madhmaheshwar Temple, revered as the second of the Panch Kedars, were ceremonially closed for the winter season. This significant religious event marked the beginning of the deity's annual migration, a tradition deeply rooted in faith and heritage.
The holy palanquin carrying the Bhoga idols has commenced its journey to Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath, the designated winter seat. En route, the palanquin will make sacred stops in Gondar, Ransi, and Giriya before reaching its destination on November 21.
To commemorate the deity's arrival, a three-day fair will be organized in Mansuna village. This celebration will feature religious ceremonies, cultural performances, and folk music, uniting the community in devotion and joy until the temple reopens next summer.
