Madhavan: Young Marriage, Secret to 27 Years Love

Actor R. Madhavan, known for his role as Ajay Sanyal in 'Dhurandhar', recently shared insights into his 27-year marriage with Sarita Birje. Speaking on a podcast, Madhavan emphasized that marrying at a young age was the crucial factor behind their enduring relationship.

He explained that youth provides a unique flexibility, making individuals more open to change and compromise. The couple's journey began in 1991 in Kolhapur, where Madhavan was an instructor at a personality development class. Sarita, a student, was impressed by his teaching. After completing her studies and becoming an air hostess, she reached out to him, leading to a dinner that sparked their romance.

Their relationship progressed over eight years before they married in 1999. In 2005, their son Vedaant was born. Vedaant has also achieved recognition, securing a silver medal for India in swimming at the 2019 Asian Age Group Championships.
