The watch integrates G-Shock's signature super-tough specifications within a case constructed entirely from sapphire crystal.
The engineering breakthrough allows the sapphire components to withstand impact, a significant advancement from the 2017 prototype which required metal bracing. While the bezel and outer case are blue sapphire crystal, the strap is made of durable rubber. Accents such as the MRG mark and lettering on the face are finished in 24-karat gold, rounding out its luxurious appearance. This $80,000 crystal Casio offers features like 200-meter water resistance, solar power, and radio-controlled timekeeping.
