Lidl Offers Bargain Gadgets to Tackle Condensation and Mould

As the UK prepares for the colder months ahead, Lidl has launched a selection of essential home bargains to help customers cut down on their energy bills. The budget retailer is offering three must-have items, available in stores from August 14th, 2025.

First up is the Wenko Grey Bathroom Squeegee, a handy tool that removes water from smooth surfaces and quickly clears condensation from windows. Lidl is also selling the Auriol Black Thermometer and Hygrometer units, which monitor indoor humidity levels and help prevent the costly problem of mould. The average price to remove mould from a single large room is £220 to £280, while tackling an entire property can set homeowners back between £725 and £1,100.

Finally, the budget store is offering a range of air-purifying plants, priced from just £3.99 each. These plants can improve indoor air quality, reducing the need for heating and cooling, and protecting homes from mould-related damage and health risks.
