To commemorate NASA's upcoming Artemis II mission, Krispy Kreme has introduced a limited-edition "Artemis II Doughnut." This special treat is available nationwide from March 31 through April 2. The doughnut is designed to celebrate humanity's return to deep space, marking a significant milestone in lunar exploration.
The "Artemis II Doughnut" starts with Krispy Kreme's Original Glazed base. It is then coated in blue vanilla-flavored icing, adorned with a mix of OREO crunch and white nonpareils, and topped with a cookies-and-creme buttercream dollop. A red chevron accent pays homage to the NASA logo, creating a festive and mission-ready confection.
This limited-edition doughnut can also be purchased as part of the Artemis II Specialty Dozen. Krispy Kreme has a history of creating space-themed treats, including doughnuts for the Apollo 11 launch and the Perseverance Rover landing. The Artemis II Doughnut is available for in-shop purchase, pickup, or delivery.
