King Charles' Sheep Now Weaving Luxury Wool Blankets

The Sandringham Estate gift shop is now offering luxurious blankets made entirely from lamb's wool, sourced directly from King Charles' personal flock. Approximately 3,000 Aberfield sheep graze on the estate's organic pastures, contributing to soil health and producing this premium wool. These thick, green blankets are perfectly timed for the upcoming cold weather, offering a sustainable and unique product.

This initiative is a testament to King Charles's ongoing commitment to sustainable practices and organic farming. Since taking over the estate in 2017, he has implemented agroforestry and restored various garden features. The Aberfield sheep, besides providing wool for these exclusive blankets, also yield organic, grass-fed meat sold on the estate.
