Kellie Finlayson, wife of former Port Adelaide player Jeremy Finlayson, recently attended the prestigious Glamour on the Grid event in Melbourne ahead of the Australian Grand Prix. Finlayson, who has been courageously battling terminal bowel cancer for four years, was a vision in a sparkling gold strapless gown.
Her appearance comes after a challenging four-year journey since being diagnosed with a tennis ball-sized tumor in her colon at age 25. Initially dismissed as new motherhood symptoms, the discovery led to a stage four diagnosis after cancer spread to her lung. Despite this, Finlayson has become a prominent advocate for bowel cancer awareness.
Finlayson has also focused on living life to the fullest, celebrating her 30th birthday – an milestone she wasn't initially expected to reach. In July of last year, she published a book titled 'There Must Be More,' sharing her experiences battling the disease and inspiring others with her story.
