Bryony Daniels, who was once rumored to be a 'decoy' for Prince William during his early relationship with Kate Middleton, has recently married Adair Williams, the Duke of Sutherland. The couple celebrated their nuptials 25 years after Daniels was often seen attending university lectures with the now Prince of Wales at the University of St Andrews. These appearances had previously sparked rumors of a potential romance.
The wedding took place at Strathvaich Lodge, a sporting estate in the Scottish Highlands. Daniels, wearing a gold Emilia Wickstead dress and a veil, shared photos of the celebration online, expressing her joy. The couple had announced their engagement in March, following a proposal in October.
Daniels was a close friend of both Prince William and Princess Kate during their time at St Andrews University from 2001 to 2005. She even participated in a university fashion show and later attended William and Kate's wedding in 2011. She was also reportedly invited to a shooting party with the couple prior to their marriage.
Daniels now works as an events organizer, while her husband, Adair Williams, holds a PhD in fluid dynamics.
