Supermodel Kate Moss has become embroiled in a planning dispute with her neighbor over fears that a new garden room development would strain her Cotswolds village's already critical sewage system. The picturesque village of Little Faringdon, where Moss has owned a mansion since 2004, is grappling with a sewage system described as "no longer fit for purpose."

Moss objected to her neighbor, Mary Oakes, building an outbuilding that included an office, gym, and bathroom. Moss's representatives stated that the means of foul drainage for the proposed garden room were unclear and that the construction could harm the rural character of the area and damage existing landscaping.

Following the objections, Mrs. Oakes removed the garden room from her development plans. This situation highlights the ongoing challenges faced by Little Faringdon, a village with only 30 properties that is prone to flooding due to its inadequate infrastructure.
