Kate Garraway's Froggy Dilemma: Pond Extension Needed?

Kate Garraway recently turned to social media for assistance with an unusual garden situation. Following her neighbours' decision to remove their pond last summer, a significant number of frogs have relocated to Garraway's garden. The presenter, concerned for the frogs, established a small pond, which has since produced frogspawn.

However, Garraway is now contemplating extending the pond to accommodate the growing frog population, noting that the water has begun to smell stagnant. She sought advice from her followers on whether to enlarge her pond or relocate the frogspawn to a more spacious environment.

Responding to her query, a veterinarian and a meteorologist advised against moving the delicate frogspawn, citing risks of damage and disease transmission. They suggested leaving the eggs to nature, as frogs naturally lay numerous eggs knowing not all will survive. An air pump was recommended to improve water quality in the existing pond.
