Bezos Lists $500M Superyacht Koru, Citing Size Issues

Jeff Bezos is reportedly selling his colossal $500 million superyacht, Koru, as it has proven too large for many ports. The 417-foot vessel, the second-largest sailing yacht globally, has faced numerous logistical hurdles, including being denied a mooring in Monaco in 2025. In 2022, its delivery required dismantling a historic bridge in Rotterdam. Koru also encountered issues docking in the Florida Everglades, often finding itself near cargo ships.

Named "Koru," symbolizing new beginnings for Bezos and his wife, the yacht features three masts, multiple decks, and a pool. It has served as a venue for the couple's world tour and celebrity parties. A supporting vessel, the $75 million Abeona, accompanies Koru, though its sale status is unconfirmed. The combined annual operating cost for these vessels is approximately $30 million.
