Comedian Halts World Tour for Wife's Cancer Battle

Jeff Arcuri has shown immense support for his wife, Bachelorette alum Katie Thurston, throughout her breast cancer diagnosis. The couple, who connected on social media in March 2024 and announced their engagement in September 2024, wed in March 2025 in a small ceremony at their New York City home.

This intimate wedding was moved up to March 22, 2025, as Thurston was scheduled to begin treatment for breast cancer on March 27, 2025. Arcuri postponed his world tour to be by her side during this challenging period, attending all her appointments and offering unwavering support.

Thurston, who was diagnosed in February 2025, has undergone fertility treatments, resulting in two banked embryos. She expressed her determination to live life fully despite her diagnosis. The couple also purchased a Victorian house in Brooklyn in April 2026, which they are currently renovating and documenting for a YouTube series.

Thurston continues to be Arcuri's biggest supporter, celebrating his career achievements, including his Netflix comedy special, 'Nice to Meet You,' released on July 7, 2025. She noted that the special was filmed during their most difficult year, incorporating themes of family, IVF, and cancer.
