Summary
- James battled cancer bravely, inspiring many with his positive outlook.
- He completed the London Marathon while undergoing chemotherapy.
- His family is launching a charity to support holistic therapies.

A young man named James, who faced a cancer diagnosis at 24, has inspired his family to establish a foundation in his memory. Despite undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy, James maintained a positive outlook and even completed the London Marathon. He experienced remission in 2023, but the cancer sadly returned six months later.
James passed away peacefully last month, leaving his family determined to continue his legacy. They are launching a charity to support holistic therapies for individuals with chronic illnesses, a cause that was one of James's ambitions. A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise initial funds for the foundation.
His father described James as fearless, embracing life and uplifting those around him with his joy and unique personality. The family home now feels empty, but they are grateful for the lessons and inspiration James provided to his immediate family, wider relatives, and his community of friends.
A memorial service for James is scheduled for March 19 at Queens Road Baptist Church in Broadstairs at 2pm. All who knew him are invited to attend and celebrate his life.
