Influencer Igho 'Tiny' Ubiribo, aged 43, died in Thailand following complications from a cosmetic genital enlargement surgery. The British-Nigerian content creator and businessman was on holiday with his wife, Danielle Allen, when he underwent the procedure in Bangkok.
The surgery involved injections that ultimately proved fatal. Shortly after the procedure, Igho experienced severe chest pain and passed out twice. Medical staff at Sukhumvit Hospital attempted CPR for over 100 minutes, but he could not be revived and passed away on March 6, 2026.
A UK post-mortem examination revealed that filler material had entered his bloodstream, leading to a pulmonary embolism. Igho, who often shared his affluent lifestyle online, had amassed over 185,000 Instagram followers. His last post, a year prior to his death, featured him and his wife at the wedding of Afrobeats singer Davido, captioned 'Happy Married Life to my Family #Chivido2025.'
His funeral was held in London in May 2026, with details of his death publicly disclosed in September 2026 following a UK inquest. Reports suggested he was laid to rest in a gold coffin valued at USD 745,000.
