Influencer Honors Daughter's Memory with Children's Book 7 Years After Tragic Accident

In October 2025, influencer Eileen Loughlin reflects on the tragic loss of her 3-year-old daughter Annabel, who passed away in a freak accident 7 years ago. Loughlin, a content creator and mother of four, vividly remembers the day in 2018 when Annabel suffered "severe trauma" to her head, leading to her death just hours later.

Since then, Loughlin and her family have worked to keep Annabel's memory alive. Less than a year after the funeral, they hosted "Annabel's All-Stars," a hurling tournament that raised funds for three charities. Now, Loughlin has written a children's book titled "Annabel's Adventures at the Beach," drawing from her own memories of days spent with her daughter.

Loughlin acknowledges that the "grieving process has changed" over the years, but she and her family remain open about their loss. "We talk about it - we're open," she says, describing how they discuss Annabel, both the happy and sad moments. Despite the immense pain, Loughlin and her family have found ways to honor Annabel's memory and continue living their lives. "She only had three and a half years to make her mark," Loughlin reflects, "and we can continue to keep her memory alive - for us, for the boys."
