Influencer Dies After Cosmetic Surgery in Thailand

British-Nigerian businessman and influencer R. Igho Ubiribo, also known as Denisi or Ego, died earlier this year at the age of 43. He had been in Thailand in March for a luxury vacation and to undergo a cosmetic procedure.
During his trip with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, Ubiribo opted for a penile enlargement. Following the procedure, he suffered a fatal embolism. Reports indicate 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected.
Upon returning to his hotel, Ubiribo experienced chest pains and fainted. Despite immediate hospitalization and extensive resuscitation efforts, he passed away on March 6. The coroner ruled his death a pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic surgery.
Ubiribo was known for his lavish lifestyle, owning properties in Los Angeles and London, and had a highly extravagant wedding in 2022. His funeral was attended by friends, family, and celebrities, including Nigerian star Davido.
