A wedding in Lowman, Idaho, faced an unexpected challenge when a road closure left the bride and groom stranded in the mountains. Erich Thalacker and Kyla Dickey were returning from a photo session in the Sawtooth Mountains, a place special to them, when they discovered Highway 21 was blocked due to a crash. With their ceremony just an hour away, they feared a significant delay.
Help arrived in the form of Garrett Kerr, an elk hunter, and Jessica, who had an ATV. Kerr offered his electric pit bike, while Jessica provided the ATV. The bride rode with Jessica and the photographer, while the groom traveled on the back of Kerr's bike, making a memorable journey to the South Fork Lodge.
The couple arrived at their wedding, surprised guests with their disheveled appearance, a testament to their adventurous detour. Kerr remarked that the incident served as a life lesson for marriage, highlighting the importance of facing unexpected challenges together as a team.
