For the fifth consecutive year, Andrzej Wojcik has turned his home in Derby into a captivating Halloween display. This year's effort, captured in a BBC timelapse, featured a 1969 Jeep Gladiator adorned with skeletons, lights, and pumpkins, alongside other spooky decorations. Wojcik, who is originally from Poland, emphasized his enjoyment in sharing his creations and making others happy.
He noted that he invested more time than money into the Halloween setup, with his car being a particular highlight. While he hasn't calculated the exact cost of the Halloween decorations, his next project for Christmas is already budgeted at £10,000, involving 22,000 LED lights. Neighbors have expressed delight at the display, with one noting it brings excitement to the school run, while another appreciated its visibility without being overly bright.
Wojcik plans to organize a special charity evening during his Christmas light show. He aims to connect with a local charity that can participate in the event, collecting voluntary donations from visitors as part of the community engagement.
