24 Feb
Summary
- Chef Gordon Ramsay struggled to open his new Aston Martin Valhalla.
- The £1 million supercar features handle-less dihedral doors.
- Ramsay asked a photographer for help opening the door.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was recently seen in London driving his new £1 million Aston Martin Valhalla with his wife, Tana. The chef, who just launched a Netflix documentary, appeared to struggle with the supercar's operation.
While arriving at the Savoy Hotel, Ramsay was unable to open the handle-less dihedral door of the British-made vehicle. He was filmed asking a photographer, Freddie Atkins, for the manual, and even knocked on the window to get Tana's attention before figuring out the mechanism.
The Aston Martin Valhalla, co-designed by F1 designer Adrian Newey, is the brand's first hybrid. It features a V8 engine supplemented by three electric motors, delivering 1,064hp and 217mph top speed.
This incident follows recent personal news for Ramsay, including his son-in-law Adam Peaty referring to him as "dad" amid a family estrangement. Peaty married Ramsay's daughter Holly in December.
