Goa's First German Brezelfest Unites Community Through Food and Art

Last weekend, Goa hosted its first-ever German Brezelfest, a celebration of food, art, and community organized by three local women. The festival was the brainchild of Andrea Thumshirn, Ragini Dhingra, and Yogita Mehra, who met and decided to create an event that would bring people together through their shared passions.

Despite heavy rain in the days leading up to the event, the skies cleared, and the smell of freshly baked pretzels filled the air. The Brezelfest was a huge success, attracting a cheerful crowd eager to enjoy the festivities. The event featured special drinks, live cooking counters, and stalls showcasing the work of local entrepreneurs and artisans. Attendees were delighted by the range of handmade products on offer, from soaps to home decor.
