Girija Oak, who recently gained viral fame for her simplicity, is also a recognized actress in Hindi and Marathi cinema. Beyond her acting career, she has a profound love for sarees, boasting a collection of approximately 400 unique drapes. Oak believes sarees carry enduring warmth and invests in handloom pieces directly from vendors who collaborate with weavers, ensuring artisans benefit.

Her collection features a diverse range of Indian textiles, including a cherished Banarasi jamawar saree from her mother, valued at around Rs 1 lakh. She also proudly displays heirlooms like her grandmother's cotton saree and a Kalamkari drape. Oak has also curated pieces from her own earnings over two decades, including a unique artist-painted saree and her wedding paithni, a generous gift from her mother-in-law.
