Flora Vesterberg, granddaughter to Princess Alexandra of Kent, recently celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary. The event took place on the National Day of Sweden, June 6, with a grand celebration held at an art museum on the Stockholm archipelago. Photographs released by Vogue showcased the elegance of the occasion and Vesterberg's exquisite attire.
Vesterberg donned a new couture creation by Phillipa Lepley, a designer known for her elegant evening wear and who also designed Vesterberg's original wedding dress. The soft blue slipper satin gown was inspired by the waters of the Stockholm archipelago. Phillipa Lepley shared that the dress was designed to move fluidly, reflecting the subtle tides and blue skies.
The gown was meticulously detailed with hand-worked embellishments that incorporated personal elements from Vesterberg's wedding dress. These included orchids, jasmine flowers, and sweet peas. Additionally, star-shaped stephanotis flowers, referencing the Ogilvy tiara worn by Vesterberg on her wedding day, were thoughtfully added, showcasing couture embroidery techniques.
