FAO Schwarz Opens Doors for FDNY Children's Holiday Joy

For over three decades, the FDNY-Uniformed Firefighters Association Widows & Children's Fund has orchestrated a heartwarming annual event at FAO Schwarz. This cherished tradition, now in its 35th year, offers families of fallen firefighters a unique opportunity to experience holiday cheer and create lasting memories.

The festive occasion sees children receiving $200 gift cards to select their desired gifts from the iconic toy store. Attendees were treated to a memorable fire engine ride around Rockefeller Center, offering a bird's-eye view of the city, and a special visit from Santa Claus.

This event has become a vital source of support, providing comfort, connection, and a reminder that the FDNY family remains united, even in the face of profound loss. Many who attended as children now return as volunteers, perpetuating the cycle of giving back.
