Actress Bhagyashree has urged the public to embrace eco-friendly Ganpati idols for the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. She highlighted that a staggering 90% of currently used Ganpati idols are made from Plaster of Paris, which poses a threat to the environment.

Bhagyashree suggests Gomay Ganesh, idols made from cow dung mixed with natural substances like clay, as a sustainable alternative. These idols are not only eco-friendly but also eco-nourishing.

Following the puja, these Gomay Ganesh idols can be immersed directly in gardens. This practice nourishes the soil and plants, offering a way to maintain a spiritual connection throughout the year.
