- The duck family has been warmly welcomed by the pub staff and patrons.

Two ducks, affectionately named Donald and Daisy, have become well-known patrons of Sinia's pub in South Shields. For the past two months, the pair regularly visited the establishment, sometimes even tapping on the window to signal their arrival. Their routine visits have taken a heartwarming turn as Daisy recently returned to the pub, this time accompanied by a brood of six ducklings.
Landlady Sinia Jawzi expressed her delight, stating that the ducks bringing their young offspring signifies they feel safe and secure. She initially began by offering them food and water and now provides them with organic duck food, with the ducklings particularly enjoying mealworms. The new arrivals have been given names: Daphne, Daffodil, Delilah, Dewey, Dixie, and Daffy, further endearing them to the pub's community.
