Dax Shepard's Colonoscopy Prep Causes SAG Awards Absence

Dax Shepard's absence from the SAG Awards ceremony, where his wife Kristen Bell was a host, generated conversation. Shepard clarified his situation via social media, sharing a physician's note detailing the stringent requirements for his upcoming colonoscopy. The instructions mandated a clear liquid diet until the morning prior, followed by water only, with no intake permitted before his arrival for the procedure.

In a humorous turn, Shepard posted a picture of himself enjoying a steak, accompanying it with the hashtag #colonoscopyprep, indicating a lighthearted approach to the medical necessity. This event occurred after the couple's 12th wedding anniversary in October 2025, an occasion marked by a social media post from Bell that drew mixed reactions from fans.
