Crow Befriends Bull Terrier After Rescue

A crow, affectionately named Cuthbert, has developed an extraordinary bond with a bull terrier named Mildred. This unique friendship began when Mildred's owner, Vanessa, rescued the crow, finding him in a distressed state near a pond in Chelmsford's Highlands Park.

Vanessa nursed Cuthbert back to health. Although he eventually flew away as expected, Cuthbert soon returned and has been visiting daily since May. Vanessa believes his continued visits are due to his strong connection with Mildred.

The pair are often seen playing and relaxing together in the garden, with Cuthbert even sleeping alongside Mildred. Vanessa emphasizes that while he is a cherished visitor, Cuthbert remains a wild bird. She is now planning a children's book about their story to benefit animal charities.
