The study by Post Office Travel Money highlighted a substantial difference of almost £130 in total costs across 22 surveyed destinations. The Algarve recorded the lowest total for these items at £139.65, reflecting a slight decrease from the previous year.
Conversely, Sorrento in Italy was found to be the most expensive location, with the same basket of goods costing £268. The research also noted considerable price variations within countries, with Greek resorts like Kos and Crete showing a difference of £41 for barometer totals.
