Celeste Barber's Chic Gold Coast Home Inspired by Luxury Hotels

Australian comedian Celeste Barber has unveiled her chic and luxurious new bachelorette pad on the Gold Coast. Following her separation from husband Api Robin, Barber is embracing her single life in the modernist property, which she purchased recently. The home's interior design was crafted by Dominee Gessner, who transformed it into a "comforting sanctuary" with "warm, rich comfort colours" and "autumnal" elements.

The concept behind the home's aesthetic is that of an edgy, luxury hotel, drawing inspiration from two of Barber's favorite establishments: Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles and Madame Reve Hotel in Paris. The space is bathed in natural sunlight and features mood lighting, including bright pink pendant lights, which Barber notes help with her ADHD.

Adding to the retro, Hollywood-inspired vibe are blue walls, a mustard couch, and 1970s furniture. Uniquely, the kitchen's stoneware features a design inspired by a vulva, a detail Barber delights in pointing out to her teenage sons. The bathroom is designed as a "sexy lab" with excellent lighting, suitable for the social media content Barber frequently films.

Barber's personal life saw a significant shift with her separation from husband Api Robin after 20 years of marriage. Robin confirmed the split, stating that while love and respect remain, they desired different things. The couple shares two sons, Lou Robin and Buddy Robin, and Robin also has two daughters from a previous marriage.
