Caroline Hirons: HRT fear and a life lived fully

Caroline Hirons, a prominent beauty entrepreneur originally from Liverpool, has established a significant career in the beauty industry. After moving to London at 17, she began her journey in the beauty sector in 1997, eventually training as an aesthetician. Her entrepreneurial ventures include launching the Skin Rocks app and skincare line in 2022, following the success of her blog, which she started in 2010. Her first book, published a decade after her blog's inception, earned her a British Book Award in 2021. Her latest book is titled "Skin Rules: Expert Advice That You Can Trust."

Hirons, who is separated and has four children, shared personal insights regarding her life and career. She admitted to a tendency towards impatience and expressed strong disapproval of negative traits like misogyny and rudeness. A cherished possession is her trio of wedding rings, symbolizing her mother, grandmother, and her own, which represents her children. She highlighted her fear of running out of HRT as a source of unhappiness and cited her marriage ending as her biggest disappointment. Reflecting on her past, she expressed a desire to have been more assertive. She considers leaving school at 15 and building two multimillion-pound businesses her greatest achievement.
