Adriana Deleon has realized a lifelong dream by opening Le Petit Pastry & Tea, Cape Coral's inaugural English-style tea room. Inspired by her mother's fondness for traditional afternoon tea in Colombia, Deleon decided to bring this experience to Southwest Florida. She pursued formal training in baking and pastry arts, graduating from Charlotte Technical College.
Despite facing delays from hurricanes and administrative processes, Deleon officially opened Le Petit Pastry & Tea in January 2024 at Coralwood Mall. The establishment provides an authentic English afternoon tea, featuring 40 types of tea, petite sandwiches, scones, and pastries served with fine bone china.
The tea room has become a popular destination for women's social gatherings, offering a tranquil alternative to the area's numerous bars and sports venues. Deleon honors her mother's memory by continuing the cherished tea tradition, creating a special space for new generations.
