Summary
- A nine-year-old boy is collecting festive gifts for ambulance staff.
- He aims to deliver hampers filled with treats to hospital workers.
- Donations for the initiative are slower this year than previously.

A nine-year-old boy named Finley-Jay from Shrewsbury is dedicated to spreading Christmas cheer among ambulance workers. He is collecting festive hamper items such as shortbread, hot chocolate, and mince pies to deliver to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
This act of kindness has become an annual tradition for Finley-Jay, who finds joy in seeing the smiles of the ambulance staff, especially after they have responded to difficult calls. His mother, Laura, expressed that recognition for his efforts has been a significant boost for him.
While Finley-Jay has been nominated for two awards in the past year, including the Mayor's Award and the BBC Make a Difference award, donations for this year's hamper drive have been slower. Laura hopes that more people will contribute to Finley-Jay's cause through his Facebook page, "Finley-Jay's Ambulance Bags Journey," to help him continue his mission.
