12 Feb
Summary
- A blind gamer's viral TikTok video led to a charity livestream event.
- The gamer will raise funds for iSightCornwall, a sight loss charity.
- The event highlights accessibility in gaming and supports sight loss.

A blind gamer, Dominic Hall, who achieved 2.5 million views on TikTok for demonstrating his gameplay using audio cues, will host a fundraising livestream. The event is scheduled for February 13th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM GMT, on Twitch. Hall is raising money for iSightCornwall, a charity dedicated to helping individuals with sight loss in Cornwall. He previously volunteered and worked for the organization.
Hall's passion for gaming stems from his desire to inspire other visually impaired individuals and to advocate for enhanced accessibility features in video games. Diagnosed with a brain tumor at age three, Hall lost sight in his right eye and was left with 10% vision in his left. Despite losing the remaining sight in his left eye in 2022, he continues to game by adapting setups and exploring assistive technologies. Babcock International Group is hosting the livestream as iSightCornwall is their chosen charity partner for an award challenge.
Babcock International Group confirmed that all proceeds from the livestream will directly support individuals experiencing sight loss within Cornwall. Carole Theobald, CEO of iSightCornwall, praised the "Gaming for Good" initiative as an innovative approach to raising awareness and vital funds, noting the positive collaboration with Babcock to develop their online presence.
