However, when McKeown returned several hours later, both the ute and Arnie were gone.

They issued countless online appeals for help, and Queensland Police worked tirelessly to locate the stolen vehicle and the missing dog. Tragically, the search came to a devastating end on the weekend when a member of the public found the stolen ute parked in Fortitude Valley, with Arnie dead inside.
The family was devastated by the heartbreaking discovery, expressing their grief over the loss of their beloved pet. "He didn't deserve to go like this!!
