Beau Sejour: 50 Years of Community Memories

Beau Sejour in Guernsey is marking its 50th anniversary with a vibrant program of events scheduled from December 10th to December 13th. The celebrations will feature a variety of activities designed to engage the community, including a 70s disco, a tropical pool party, and a special anniversary concert. Additionally, islanders can look forward to go-karting and a bouncy castle, with organisers confirming that several of these activities will be free of charge.

Organisers highlighted Beau Sejour's integral role within Guernsey, describing it as the "heart of the community." They noted that nearly everyone on the island possesses a cherished memory associated with the leisure centre. Over the past fifty years, it has served as a venue for learning to swim, participating in diverse sports, attending shows and concerts, and celebrating community events. The anniversary events are planned as an expression of thanks to the islanders for their continuous connection to Beau Sejour.
